Kelly and Paul, and the burping bridesmaid

From the  moment Kelly and Paul met me, I was instantly disarmed, they were funny and sweet and have a great back and forth that couples who know how to push each others buttons show when meeting with someone new. Oh yeah, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m not really a pollyanna, but I would admit to being easily charmed. Paul dead panned about looking for work after graduation and Kelly laughed, Kelly asked about different details and Paul rolled his eyes and smiled the instant before he would get a reaction from Kelly… In short, great theater that I got to watch.  When I select clients I do have some criteria that I like to look for, how engaged they are with each other, how much give and take they exhibit before me, the stranger at that point. If they are full of life and interaction, I know it’s going to be a good match with my workflow. Oh I work with shy people plenty, but it takes a bit longer to coax them out of the shell to relax with a big glass eye pointed at them. Kelly and Paul were the right kind of mix, very engaged with each other so they wouldn’t be distracted by me.

With many friends coming in from Pennsylvania and family coming from the area, and a very vocal maid of honor from Colorado, everyone was set to enjoy the evening. Simple service at church with beautiful natural lighting, and one cantankerous grandmother-e.g. GREAT picture!, later and we have a fantastic railroad walking, maid of honor burping, groomsmen cuddling, father of the bride tearing,  whole bunch of people kissin’ wedding for all to enjoy.

Congratulations Kelly and Paul! It was wonderful to be a part of your day.
