Yo-ho-ho!

Along side the pier in Fells Point Baltimore, at the end of South Ann Street, a gang of swashbuckling, cackling, singing, and overall merry making band of ne’er do wells cavort throughout the summer months.

These be Urban Pirates, different from their high seas cousins, in that they give out their treasure to their shipboard guests, most likely necessitating the need for more booty. Because what’s a Pirate going to sit on?

Available for children or adults-the Grog Cruise, the Urban Pirates take the party around the Inner Harbor, fire the water cannons, keep the kids laughing, and the adults from falling overboard.  The Urban Pirates is rated as one of the Top Things to do in Baltimore by Trip Advisor. A distinction well earned. The scenario for the wee-ones is after a few lessons in safety and pirate lingo (All Hands on Deck…yes, really..ALL HANDS!) the ship sets sail around the different piers of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Keeping a sharp eye out for Mad Eye Mike, the renegade pirate who steals from our very own pirates, the nerve. Ready to do battle with water cannons strewn along the gunwales of the Fearless-our Piratz ship.

At a little more than an hour, and with an energetic cast and never treacly mood, our very own Charm City Urban Pirates are every bit the place to test the sea legs and get a view of the harbor.
